Limited Warranty Policy for OPUS SoundBed

Warranty Coverage:

OPUS Immersive Inc. ("OPUS") warrants the connected vibroacoustic hardware device ("the Product") to the original purchaser or recipient of a gifted Product for a period of two (2) years for devices ordered before January 1st, 2024 and one (1) year from the date of delivery for devices ordered thereafter - against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

Covered Components and Periods:

  • Vibroacoustic System Components: Covered for a period as described above, including but not limited to the power supply, amplifier, computer board, and transducers and other electrical components


This limited warranty does not cover:

  • Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, alteration, or neglect of the Product
  • Use of unauthorized parts, modifications, or accessories
  • Normal wear and tear consistent with proper use
  • Damage caused by improper handling, installation, or maintenance by individuals not authorized by OPUS

Making a Warranty Claim:

To initiate a warranty claim within the Warranty Period, the original purchaser or recipient must:

  • 1) Cease use of the Product upon detecting a defect.
  • Contact OPUS Support via live chat or email with proof of purchase, order number, or relevant details.
  • 2) Provide a comprehensive description of the defect or issue encountered.
  • 3) Follow instructions provided by the Company's support team regarding product return, if necessary.

Warranty Limitations:

  • Repair, replacement, or refund (in full or partial, at the discretion of OPUS) constitutes the sole remedies available under this warranty.
  • Any replaced or repaired Product shall be covered for the remaining warranty period or 30 days, whichever is longer.
  • OPUS is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from Product use or malfunction.

Exclusions and Limitations:

  • This warranty applies solely to the components explicitly stated herein and discovered within the Warranty Period.
  • It does not cover damages resulting from unauthorized modifications, use of non-approved accessories, or commercial use of the Product.
  • OPUS is not liable for data loss, interruption of service, or software-related issues.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution:

This limited warranty is subject to the laws of the state of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes related to this warranty or the Product shall be resolved according to the dispute resolution procedures outlined in the OPUS terms of service.
